How Your Customer's Bulk Discount Works

Bulk orders are sold in cases of 12 candles, and the customer's discount increases as the size of the order increases.

🛒 HOW THE CUSTOMER ORDERS

The customer orders through the Mello website.

1️⃣ ADD PRODUCTS

The customer chooses the candles they want.

2️⃣ CHECKOUT

They complete the order using the website.

3️⃣ SELECT

Choose Pay by Invoice.

4️⃣ ADD YOUR CODE

The customer should enter your Sales Rep Code.

🔑 This tells Mello that you referred the customer.

5️⃣ MELLO REVIEWS THE ORDER

Mello will:

📦 Check the order quantity
💜 Apply the correct bulk discount
🚚 Calculate shipping
🧾 Prepare the final invoice

6️⃣ CUSTOMER APPROVES

The customer receives the final invoice and reviews it before making payment.

7️⃣ MELLO FULFILLS

Mello handles:

📦 Packing
🚚 Shipping
💳 Payment
📋 Order processing

Your Sales Rep Code helps Mello:

📊 Track the sale
💰 Calculate your commission
🏆 Track your qualifying sales

🚨 YOUR CODE DOES NOT GIVE AN EXTRA DISCOUNT

The customer receives one bulk discount based on the number of candles purchased.

Your Sales Rep Code does not give the customer another discount.

💰 YOUR COMMISSION IS SEPARATE

The customer's discount and your commission are two different things.

CUSTOMER

Gets the bulk discount based on quantity.

YOU

Earn commission based on your current Sales Rep level.

Your commission is calculated from the discounted product subtotal.

🚫 Shipping is not included.

🚫 Taxes are not included.

🧮 SIMPLE EXAMPLE

A customer places a qualifying order for 600 candles.

📦 600 candles = 50 cases

50 cases qualifies for:

➡️ 12% customer discount

Mello applies the 12% discount to the qualifying products.

Then your commission is calculated separately using your current Sales Rep commission level.

💜 YOU DO NOT CALCULATE THE CUSTOMER'S FINAL PRICE.

Mello handles the discount, shipping, invoice, payment, and fulfillment.
