Orders and Acceptance

When you place an order with Mello ScentSations Inc., you represent and warrant that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current. You are responsible for reviewing your order details, including product selection, quantity, shipping information, and billing information, before submitting your order.

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. An order confirmation or payment authorization does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of an order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will refund the amount paid for the canceled portion of the order using the original payment method, subject to applicable law.

Once an order has been accepted and processed, changes or cancellations may not be possible. Please contact us as soon as possible if you believe an order contains an error.

Mello ScentSations Inc. makes reasonable efforts to keep product availability and inventory information on our website accurate and current. If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we may cancel the unavailable portion of your order and notify you using the contact information provided with your order. If payment has already been processed for a canceled product, we will issue a refund for that product using the original payment method, subject to applicable law.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, modify product offerings, or cancel orders when necessary, including where inventory information is inaccurate or an item is no longer available.

Pricing

All prices displayed on the Mello ScentSations Inc. website are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD), unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, handling fees, and other applicable charges will be displayed at checkout or otherwise communicated before your order is completed.

Mello ScentSations Inc. reserves the right to change product prices, promotions, discounts, and other pricing information at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted and confirmed, except where an order must be canceled due to an obvious pricing or listing error.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that all pricing information is accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur. Shipment & Delivery

Mello ScentSations Inc. will make reasonable efforts to process and ship accepted orders within the timeframe indicated on our website or communicated at the time of purchase. Processing and delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.

Orders will be shipped using the carrier and shipping method selected by the customer, where applicable. We reserve the right to select an appropriate carrier when a specific carrier has not been selected.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery is subject to the carrier's processes, schedules, service disruptions, weather conditions, delays, and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Mello ScentSations Inc. is not responsible for carrier delays or delivery interruptions that are outside our control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information. We are not responsible for delays, additional charges, or delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

Please inspect your package promptly upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your order information and photographs or other supporting information so that we can investigate and determine the appropriate resolution.

Where applicable, responsibility for loss or damage during shipment will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the carrier and shipping service used.

Returns & Refunds

At Mello ScentSations Inc., we want you to be happy with your purchase. Because our products include candles, home fragrance, and body care items, certain products may be subject to specific return restrictions for hygiene, safety, quality-control, or other legitimate business reasons.

All returns and refunds are subject to our applicable Return & Refund Policy and any additional terms communicated at the time of purchase.

Products must not be returned after being altered, used improperly, contaminated, damaged through misuse, or otherwise handled in a manner that prevents us from reasonably determining their condition.

For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, certain body care or personal-use products may be final sale and may not be eligible for return once opened or used, except where required by applicable law.

Mello ScentSations Inc. reserves the right to refuse a return or refund where there is evidence of misuse, abuse of our return policy, fraudulent activity, or failure to comply with the applicable return requirements, except where prohibited by law.

Candle Safety & Proper Use

Candles are intended to be enjoyed safely and responsibly. Before using any Mello ScentSations Inc. candle, customers must read and follow all safety instructions, warnings, and directions provided on the product label and packaging.

For safe candle use:

Trim the wooden wick before every burn. Before each lighting, allow the candle to cool completely and remove the charred or burnt portion of the wooden wick according to the candle-care instructions provided with the product. Remove all wick trimmings and debris from the wax before relighting.
Never burn a candle for more than two (2) hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting it.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish the candle before leaving the room or going to sleep.
Keep the candle within sight while burning and keep it away from drafts, fans, vents, open windows, and areas with significant air movement.
Keep candles on a stable, heat-resistant, level surface and away from anything that can catch fire, including curtains, paper, furniture, bedding, and other flammable materials.
Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
Never move or handle a candle while it is burning or while the wax is hot. Allow the candle and melted wax to cool completely before handling or relocating it.
Never burn a candle with a damaged, cracked, or otherwise compromised container.
Never use a candle for any purpose other than its intended purpose. Do not alter, modify, add materials to, or otherwise tamper with a candle.
Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, debris, matches, or other foreign materials.
Stop using the candle when the remaining wax reaches the stopping point indicated on the product label or packaging. Do not burn a candle all the way to the bottom of its container.
Never use water to extinguish a candle. Use an appropriate candle-snuffing method and follow the product's care instructions.
If the flame becomes excessively large, produces excessive smoke, or the candle otherwise appears unsafe, extinguish it immediately. Allow the candle to cool completely before inspecting and preparing it for another burn.

Customers are responsible for following all candle safety instructions and warnings provided by Mello ScentSations Inc. Failure to follow these instructions, including failure to trim the wick before each burn, burning the candle for longer than two (2) hours at a time, leaving a candle unattended, or otherwise misusing or modifying the product, may result in fire, injury, property damage, or other harm.

Mello ScentSations Inc. is not responsible for loss, injury, or damage resulting from improper use, misuse, modification, alteration, negligence, failure to follow safety instructions, or use of a product contrary to its intended purpose, except to the extent that such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Body Care & Skincare Safety & Proper Use

Mello ScentSations Inc. body care products are intended for their stated purpose and should be used only as directed on the product label, packaging, or accompanying instructions.

Before using any body care product, customers are responsible for reviewing the product's ingredients, directions, warnings, and intended use. If you have known allergies, sensitivities, fragrance sensitivities, or concerns about any ingredient, you should review the ingredient information carefully and, where appropriate, consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.

We recommend performing a small patch test before applying a new body care product more extensively, particularly if you have sensitive skin or have not previously used the product or its ingredients.

Do not use our body care products on broken, damaged, or irritated skin unless specifically directed by a qualified healthcare professional. Avoid contact with the eyes and other areas where the product is not intended to be applied.

Discontinue use immediately if you experience irritation, redness, itching, burning, swelling, discomfort, or any other unexpected reaction. Seek appropriate medical attention if a reaction is severe or does not resolve.

For candles and home fragrance products, you are responsible for following all applicable fire-safety and candle-care instructions, including properly preparing the wick before each burn, observing the maximum recommended burn time, extinguishing the candle when required, and keeping the product away from children, pets, flammable materials, and other hazards.

For body care products, you are responsible for reviewing the ingredients and directions before use and considering any known allergies, sensitivities, or other individual concerns. You should discontinue use if an unexpected reaction occurs.

You acknowledge that failure to follow product instructions, warnings, or intended-use requirements may result in injury, irritation, fire, property damage, or other harm.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mello ScentSations Inc. will not be responsible for loss, injury, damage, or other harm resulting from misuse, improper use, alteration, modification, negligence, failure to follow instructions or warnings, or use of a product contrary to its intended purpose.

use of a product for a purpose other than its intended purpose;
unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations to our products;

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a product or purchase will not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
